We are excited to announce that the Adena Youth League junior high teams will be providing concessions at several home baseball games this spring. All proceeds from the concession stands for these home games will directly go back to the Adena Youth League junior high teams. If you need anything during the game make sure you support our FUTURE Adena Warriors!

TJ Housh - Hitting Instruction & Drills
Competed all four years of varsity baseball at Logan Elm High school where I broke 6 and maintained 5 baseball hitting records. Throughout my high school career, I made the All-District team three years in a row and was selected to play in the Mizzuno All-Ohio games during my senior season. I gained competitive travel ball experience through the Columbus Cobras and trained with Brian Mannino (two time Ohio State All-American) during my last four years of my career. After deciding not to pursue college baseball, I began instructing youth baseball players on the fundamentals at the plate. Since then, I have had the opportunity of working with 100+ ball players on the basics of my compact, yet explosive style of hitting.

Bachelors Degree in Athletic Training from Ohio University
Masters Degree in Athletic Training from the University of Florida
Internships at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida and a police academy in Virginia
Head Athletic Trainer at Newberry High School in Florida for 2 years
Certified Early Intervention Specialist with ATI Worksite Solutions for 1.5 years. Provided medical services on-site with Giant Eagle grocery stores and Hendrickson Auxiliary Axle. While with ATI, I also worked as an athletic trainer in a physical therapy clinic.
I have been with Adena and Paint Valley HS since September 2016.

Adena Youth League has made some great changes this year to better our Warriors!
1. Jr. High Baseball has joined the Washington Courthouse League. This will allow the boys to play more games.
2. We have left the Tri-County League and joined the Chillicothe City League. T-ball through 12U baseball will play at Clarksburg, our home field, and Yoctangee Park.
3. Both Baseball and Softball Sign-ups will be held the same days, Saturday, 1/14/17 from 10-1 and Wednesday, 1/18/17 from 6-8 in the Adena Auditeria. This includes:
A. Jr. High Baseball - $150
B. Jr. High Softball - $125
C. SVYL Softball - $75
D. SVYL Baseball - $90
E. City League - T-ball - $45, Baseball - $90

Do you have any used baseball or softball equipment laying around; cleats, gloves, bats, etc? Bring it to our equipment drive! We will be recycling the items to players in need. Making it possible for less fortunate players to play and enjoy America's favorite past time ⚾️
Don't have any baseball or softball equipment, but still want to help those in need? We we also be collecting coats, hats, gloves and canned goods for the Adena School Store. Let's put a smile on a child's face!!
