We will be revamping the SCO Bash Tournament format due to the recent changes in the American Legion Baseball rules for the 2018 season, more information to follow by early November.
9 inning games
The 2018 South Central Ohio Bash is a great opportunity to tune up for your regional/zone and state American Legion Baseball Tournaments as all teams will play 3 9 inning games over a 3 day period. We will play with modified rules to allow teams to prepare for their end of season tournaments. Teams will be permitted to:
- Use an EH (extra hitter) in addition to the DH (for any player) if they want to get some extra at bats
- Courtesy run for pitcher & catcher if they so choose
- OHSAA re-entry rule permitted
SEEDING & TIE BREAKERS: 1. Head-to-head record between the two teams that are tied for the final spot (head-to-head record only applied if tie is between the two teams). 2. Fewest runs allowed between the tied team/s. 3. Highest total run differential; NOTE: Total run differential is the sum of each game's differential. 4.
